GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

The services offered consist of one or more coaching sessions.
The price varies according to the nature and specificity of the sessions.
All sessions must be paid in full at the start of the session.
Sessions are scheduled by date, either online (video call) or in person agreed upon by both parties.

The sessions are offered by Kaija HELWEG, either online or in person.

The Coach is bound by professional secrecy and by ethical principles, including:

  • Respect for confidentiality regarding the Coachee (the person attending the coaching session)

  • Respect for the Coachee, their individuality, and their choices

The Coach agrees to:

  • Provide unconditional support to the Coachee

  • Help the Coachee develop their abilities and resources while respecting their goals and requests

  • Support the Coachee in identifying a motivating objective

  • Use a reliable coaching method

  • Participate regularly in professional supervision

  • Always give their best

The Coachee agrees to:

  • Actively participate in their coaching process and complete the exercises requested by the Coach

  • Be punctual for coaching sessions

  • Inform the Coach no later than one day before the scheduled session in case they are unable to attend — in which case the session will be rescheduled.

If a session is cancelled on the same day, it must be paid for in full.

RESPONSIBILITY

The Coachee is responsible for their own work and for all consequences it may have on themselves.

CODE OF ETHICS OF THE COACH

  1. The Coach undertakes to provide unconditional support to the Coachee, to help them develop their abilities and resources, respecting their requests. The Coach supports the Coachee in setting motivating goals and in giving their best.

  2. The Coach’s professional competence is ensured by training in the field of coaching. The Coach informs Coachees about the nature of their training and the qualifications obtained.

  3. The Coach has themselves received coaching and continues to seek supervision from peers to maintain and reflect on their professional practice. The Coach is engaged in an ongoing process of personal development.

  4. Coaching is a profession that requires regular updating of knowledge. The Coach keeps informed of developments in the discipline.

  5. The Coach ensures that their intervention serves the Coachee’s best interest and acts with integrity throughout the coaching process. If the Coach does not possess the required expertise for a specific issue, they will refer the Coachee to another qualified professional. Under no circumstances will the Coach use the coaching relationship for personal or non-contractual gain.

  6. If, during a coaching session, the Coach observes significant differences or incompatibilities that make it impossible to continue under the agreed terms, the Coach is ethically obliged to terminate the coaching relationship, clearly explaining the reasons for this decision. Whenever possible, they will suggest alternative options for the Coachee.

  7. With regard to the profession, the Coach maintains a duty of discretion in both speech and conduct. The Coach shows respect for the diversity of approaches within the field of coaching, while rejecting the idea that any person or group holds the absolute truth in the matter. The Coach contributes to the profession’s image through their behavior, competence, and worldview.

  8. Coaching is a professional, secular process, free from any dogma or ideology.
